We were so excited to eat at Katie's! We had heard wonderful things about the food. Unfortunately, our first encounters at the establishment weren't great. When we were walking up to the door, we were motioned to stopped. Strange, as it was pretty chilly out - but we waited outside. It didn't take too long for the hostess to come talk to us and let us know that she was wiping down a table for us. As we walked to sit down, one of the servers saw us and gave us an eyeroll. The only thing I could figure, is she didn't like kids; oh well, hopefully she isn't our server! Oh, she was!!!! So right off the bat, Mike and I were annoyed. She was busy which we understood, as both of us had worked in the industry and knew what it was to be busy. But, what neither of us had ever done that she did, was to actually tell the customers (us) to "Hurry up! We are busy and I have to get this order in." Um excuse me??
